Lehmann Expresses Joy, Reflects on Transfer

Swiss international Alisha Lehmann has expressed her delight after scoring her first competitive goal for Juventus Women. The 23-year-old striker joined the Bianconere from Aston Villa in the Women's Super League (WSL) during the summer transfer window.

Lehmann made her Juventus debut in a 1-0 victory over Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia on August 21, 2022, but had to wait until the league clash against Como on September 11th to find the back of the net.

Speaking to the media after the game, Lehmann said: "I feel so happy to have scored my first goal for Juventus. I've been working hard since I joined the club, and it's a great feeling to finally get on the scoresheet."

Lehmann, who has been capped 39 times by Switzerland, also reflected on her move from Aston Villa to Juventus, saying: "It was a difficult decision to leave Villa, but I'm so glad I made the move to Juventus. It's a massive club with a great history."

"I'm learning a lot from the coaches and the players here, and I'm confident that I can continue to improve and develop as a player at Juventus."
