The match was a tale of two halves, with RSL dominating the first half and FC Dallas controlling the second half.
RSL had the best chance of the first half when Jefferson Savarino hit the post in the 16th minute.
However, RSL took the lead in the 27th minute when Kreilach scored from close range after a great cross from Bryan Oviedo.
FC Dallas had a few chances to equalize in the second half, but they were unable to find the back of the net.
The win was a good way for RSL to end the season, as they had struggled for form in recent weeks.
RSL will now turn their attention to the playoffs, where they will face the Vancouver Whitecaps in the first round.
FC Dallas will not participate in the playoffs.
