Taylor Swift Releases Deluxe Edition of 'Evermore' with Bonus Tracks
Album Features Unreleased Songs and Alternate Versions
Taylor Swift surprised fans on Thursday, August 5th, with the release of a deluxe edition of her 2020 album 'Evermore.' The new version includes four unreleased songs, as well as alternate versions of two existing tracks.
The bonus tracks on the deluxe edition are "Right Where You Left Me," "It's Time to Go," "Closure," and "Marjorie." Swift co-wrote all four songs with Aaron Dessner, who also produced the album.
The alternate versions of "Willow" and "Champagne Problems" feature new instrumentation and vocals. "Willow" now has an extended intro with a haunting piano melody, while "Champagne Problems" has a more delicate arrangement with acoustic guitar and strings.
The deluxe edition of 'Evermore' is available now on streaming platforms and in physical formats. It marks the second time Swift has released a deluxe edition of an album in 2020, following the release of 'Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions' in November.
The original version of 'Evermore' was released in December 2020 and received critical acclaim. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over two million copies worldwide.
